Nurturing the Nations
The world we live in today needs us all to change our mindests regarding the way we deal with the environment. We wholy embrace the ethos of sustainability as it relates to our everyday interactions with mother nature. Our goal is to share, exchange knowledge and experiences with all people of the same mentality.
Our focus includes but is not limited to the themes of sustainable development. climate change, environmental management and sustainable agriculture. We believe that through our participation in re-shaping our societies along the lines of sustainable development we will achieve a greener society where humans no longer take more than what the earth can provide.
The Voice
Air-pollution and defforrestration are the cancers that have eaten our environment. Through them, carbon emmissions have increased and global warming has become the buzzword of the century.
Environment's Keeper
Imagine a day with what you see in the image: from baby pampers to plastic. Sustainable waste management is one of the pillars that make up a green society. We all have an obligation not to dump our rubbish in undesignated dumpsites. Instead of dumping, we have the opportunity to re-use, and recycle all material. Let us stand up and say no to dirty streets and cities by adopting sustainable waste disposal systems. Don't be a litter-bug
Fact Sheet
Today there is no longer denialism that climate change is a reality. World leaders meeting at the 2014 Climate Summit in New York agreed with science that the global climate is increasingly changing at a much alarming rate. The change has implications on food security, general human security and also world stability. It is no longer time to think that climate change is not 'our' problem but 'their' problem. That mentality no longer has space today in the midst of vast evidence globally that climate change is indeed a reality. We hope you will act now and reduce your carbon footprint as you move towards re-using and reclying. A greener planet for a healthy tommorow.
Saving The Nations
Our planet is confronted with multi-faceted human and environmental challenges. HIV/AIDS has continued to reign supreme especially in Africa, and poverty has become a lifestyle for most children in the African continent. The number of people with no access to healthcare, clean water, shelter, food and basic education has remained high. Women and children are mostly recipients of all these natural and human problems. In the midst of all these monumental challenges, sustainable development remains the only realistic route to end poverty, and the reduce the effcets of climate change. As a global information pivot, we endeavor to disseminate enough information to all people of all backgrounds on sustainable development through enhancing community adaptation to natural and anthropogenic challenges and community resilience to envornmental and climatic upheavals.
It is everyone's duty to protect the environment and care for the disadvantaged. People are often reminded of their human rights, which is good, but, in a time of a global climate change catastrophe, it is righteous and sacred for us to remind people of their duties to save our planet. We all get to enjoy our rights after someone has fulfilled their duty to provide. We all have rights to good shelter, education, clean water, etc, but we must never forget to play our role in making sure that the environment is conducive for the enjoyment of such rights. Industries must always cut their emissions and global citizens must always play the watchdog role to monitor the activities that endanger our survival, and that of future generations.
